Leading Vein Visualization Device Supports AVA Mission by Helping to Improve Patient Outcomes

AccuVein Inc., the global leader in vein visualization and creator of the world’s only portable, non-contact vein visualization device, announced today that it will be showcasing the AccuVein device at the AVA Annual Scientific Meeting being held in Orlando, Florida from September 16-19.

The AccuVein device provides a map of the patient’s vasculature on the skin’s surface to help facilitate access to veins for IV starts and blood draws. The AccuVein device has been shown to improve first stick success by a striking 350%, reduce pain by up to 59% and reduce procedure time by 78%.

“Difficult venous access is an all too prevalent condition,” said AccuVein Vice President, Vinny Luciano. “AccuVein improves the ability to locate veins on these DVA patients thereby improving the patient experience and the quality of care.”

AccuVein will be demonstrating their award winning vein illumination technology at booth #109. AccuVein will also be exhibiting this month at ENA 2016 in Los Angeles, CA (booth #1439) and at APHON Annual Conference in Indianapolis, IN (booth #319).
